We are a venue that can cater for the grand and magnificent to the small and intimate. Matches and Hatches and Dispatches, 21st celebrations, corporate or educational events can all be accommodated. It is the ultimate blank canvas of the beauty of the Kaimai Ranges as your backdrop and the stunning rural and ocean views of the Bay of Plenty and Tauranga harbour open out in front of you. We are an arboretum, so there are plenty of photo opportunities here.
We have 40 acres including hill country and native QEII bush as the perfect play ground for your event. We have a large platform suitable for a 300 person marquee with ample room to spare surrounding it for activities. A volleyball net is easily erected. There is a smaller platform for a 50 guest marquee adjacent to the lodge.
For smaller gatherings, the lodge and its marquee are available . The lodge is a modern take on a rustic theme and is set up for luxury, comfort and entertaining. The marquee would be set up adjacent to the lodge which is set in a funky spiky colourful garden.
The American style barn is a 90 square meter indoor space, where a quaint/ themed event might be held. There is a large concrete apron for over spill and you are right next to the orchard and other specimen trees for photos.
We have a suite of facilities including accommodation
-the luxury lodge, which has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which sleeps 8. It has a large open plan kitchen living and dining room. There is also a 5x9m conference room adjoining the living area.
-the barn annex which sleeps 2-4 is a self contained well appointed unit. The basket ball hoop and other activities adjoin.
-the chiefs teepee sleeping 12
-further futons can be made available.
We also have a spa pool and other pamperings can be arranged.
