At the Commodore Airport Hotel, full conference facilities are available including data projector (chargeable), electronic whiteboard, catering and accommodation. After the conference, guests can socialise on our stylish new resort-style terrace with gas fireplace and large screen television.

We also have an attractive garden setting, leisure facilities such as bar, tennis court, gym, sauna, heated indoor pool/spa, golf course just across the road, for you to unwind after a busy day.

Our handy conference venue location close to airport comes with abundant free parking. Complimentary shuttle for guests flying to and from Christchurch Airport makes getting to the venue a breeze. We can host seven different meetings at the same time and our venues extend from boardrooms, through to theatre-sized rooms.

The Head of Avon Combined Meeting Room

Can seat up to 200 people, in theater style with car parking for 150 cars.

The Head of Avon South

Located on level two with its entrance opposite the swimming pool, is designed to cater to all your conferencing needs. Starting from the layout of the seating to the equipment that is required, all can be customised to your liking. The Head of Avon South can accommodate up to 85 people.

The Head of Avon North

Another one of our fully customisable conference rooms located on level two beside the Mainland Room. It can accommodate up to 85 people with a host of conferencing facilities at your disposal.

The Mainland Room

Located on level two above the Reception and can accommodate up to 50 people. The walls of the Mainland Room have a beautiful display of assorted paintings which sets the atmosphere for a good meeting. Like all our conference rooms, the Mainland Room is fully customisable to your business needs

The Conference Room Four

Ideal for small groups of up to 40 people. Located on level two beside the south east entrance of the Kowhai Wing, it has all the facilities offered by our larger rooms, yet spacious enough to make room for a comfortable meeting.

The Conference Room Five

Designed to make your business seem like pleasure. Located on level two beside the south east entrance of the Kowhai Wing, it can accommodate up to 60 people and is fully customisable to your business needs.

The Endeavour Room

Located at the entrance of the Commodore Airport Hotel, is ideal for an executive board meeting and can accommodate up to 12 delegates.

The Ward Room

Ideal for having meeting followed by lunches. Its large windows and beautiful view provides the perfect atmosphere for a business lunch. Located at level 1 adjoining the restaurant, it can accommodate up to 60 people with fully customisable facilities.
