Have you ever worked out in one of those hard-core gyms? The people that are serious about working out there don't really care about all those fancy machines that are out there today. No! What they care about is results, results, results.
They want all their hard work and effort to pay off with results.
This should be the same with you and your business. You want reliable and traceable benefits for everything you do.
Here are 3 lessons to consider:
1. Keep It Simple
Getting in shape is a limbo of fancy equipment. Just like getting clients isn't about all that fancy technology. It's more about knowing what to do and how to do it using the resources you already have. And then doing it.
2. Stick to the Fundamentals
3. Do It Everyday
you want a well-rounded workout program, but it definitely doesn't need to be about some fancy fitness moves. Keep it pretty basic so that nearly everyone can complete it.
So is good marketing.
Most people get enamored (and distracted) by fancy gimmicks. When your entire marketing could be slimmed down to just three activities.
1. Get Leads
2. Make Offers
3. Close Sales
If you are serious about your fitness program you got to do something about it every day.
The same goes with business. If you are serious about growing up, getting involved with some training program once a year and listening to a webinar here and there just won't cut it.
Marketing is an everyday activity. If you refuse to do it, you really don't have a business, you only pretend to have one.
I call it “ABM” Always Be Marketing, if you want a full roster of clients in six months, you must be marketing TODAY and every day. Not just once in a while, but consistently.
To have clients consistently, Always Be Marketing.
